Latest Attempt at Normal Skin: M-61 Power Glow Peel

I wanted to come back and give out my update in my ongoing quest to have a face not so suitable for grating cheese. I've been haunted since probably before adolescence by some skin on my neck and back that's more sandpaper than human. I've tried various creams and topicals over the past few years that help somewhat. Is it too much to ask for one product to just cure every skin ailment and make your 24-year-old dermis just like new?

Well, I've been getting promising results so far from this product my girlfriend bought for me when she went on her monthly Bluemercury run to stock up on her own makeups and lipsticks and eyeshadows and who all knows what else. She came back with something called M-61 Power Glow Peel and told me to use it.

I did as I was told and I'm better off for it. (Boyfriends, take note. This is commonly the case.) It says it's an exfoliating peel of salicylic acid for all skin types, including dry, oily and whatever the hell I got going on. It's fragrance-free which is good, and paraben-free which I presume is good but frankly have no idea. It's also mosquito-free, though they didn't bother to say it on the bottle.

It's working, I'm pretty sure. The back of my neck feels weirdly less rough, like it's getting there or something. I'll need to ask the dermatologist what's going on, but the skin it is a-changin'.

This Power Glow Peel is really useful. I cut them into halves and just use one half, and it absorbs fairly quickly, nice cool feel to it. I noticed this M-61 product has 18 reviews on Google and 17 are 5-star. (None from me, yet.) That must mean something. Also, according to this article with Barry Beck - modernluxury.com/los-angeles/features/bluemercurys-barry-beck-expands-his-empire-eye-la - the Bluemercury store chain sells a Power Glow Peel every eight seconds and is the top-selling item in their entire network.

So, I've been using M-61 Power Glow Peel for a couple weeks now, with fairly rapid and apparently positive results thus far. I'll keep on wiping down my back and neck in the hope that I can get things ironed out back there.
